Bright House was a telecommunications company founded in 2003, which offered a number of cable services including high speed internet, high definition television, VoIP, and security for commercial and residential customers. Bright House stood as the sixth largest cable provider and 10th largest television provider in the country. Bright House Networks LLC was acquired by Charter Communications in 2016 as a part of the $65.5 billion merger that created the new umbrella brand name of Spectrum. Spectrum now consists of the former communications companies of Charter, Time Warner Cable, and Bright House Networks making it the second largest cable provider in the United States. Spectrum provides internet and cable services to over 25 million customers in 41 states across America.
Bright House primarily provided coverage in Central Florida, but also covered Indianapolis, Tampa, Birmingham, Detroit, and Bakersfield.
